Linda Broussard

Linda is the primary contact for all leadership consultation, training, governance and services for SLA's units. She leads a team responsible for the Association's list rental program, membership, the Information Center, research, and marketing. She is the staff member on the nominating committee. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the Institute of Organization Management, she began her career with the Texas Hospital Association and its related corporations in a variety of positions ranging from managing research contracts at the state and national level, marketing products and services, and managing several of its affiliated professional societies, to ultimately heading the association governance department.

At the Young Presidents Organization, she directed the regional activities and governance training for its 72 chapters and nine regions in North America. At Meeting Professionals International she directed its global chapter relations program and managed a contract with the Canadian government to develop standards for the profession. She is active in her professional association, the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE)
