I'm the manager of InfoAction, the fee-for-service division of Vancouver Public Library. We specialize in due diligence background checks and market research, as well as historical directory searches supporting environmental site assessment and a range of general research.

Before InfoAction, I worked at the BC Securities Commission for 5 years, first as an information specialist, and then managing website/intranet content and projects. My projects included re-branding the public site, implementing a content management system, redesigning the intranet, and usability/information architecture for several e-filing systems and document collections.

During my MLIS, I worked at Blast Radius, a web development firm, over the summer and part-time during the year. While there, I wrote process documentation, set up a centralized library, and conducted an information audit and needs assessment to develop a knowledge management strategy/plan. I also worked part-time on the reference desk in the UBC undergraduate library.
