February 2010 financial reports available
I have posted the financial reports for the period ending February 28, 2010, on the Financial Reports page of the Treasurer's space.
Please let me know if you have any trouble obtaining any of these reports through the Wiki.
New Treasurer
The Chapter has a new Treasurer: Hannah Sommers was approved by the Board as Treasurer for the remainder of the year. Gulnar Nagashybayeva had to resign as 2010 Treasurer for personal reasons, and in February Hannah asked to be considered by the Nominating Committee as a candidate to fill the remainder of the 2010 year as Treasurer (great job, Diane and your committee!). The Board voted via email, and Hannah was approved. Gulnar will remain as Treasurer through the end of March, and I will serve as Assistant Treasurer for the remainder of the year, to ensure a smooth transition and bring Hannah up to speed on all the financial operations of our Chapter. Welcome, Hannah!
2010 budget given final approval by Chapter Board of Directors at March 4 meeting
After discussion and amendment, the 2010 budget was approved at the march 4 Chapter Board meeting. This budget can be found on the Financial Reports page of the Treasurer's space.
