Position: Senior Development Researcher, Development and Alumni Relations

Job Description:
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to identify prospective individual and institutional donors. Write reports which analyze and evaluate biographical, business and financial resources of these prospective donors. Provide advice and counsel to major gift and other development officers as to prioritizing the giving capacities and inclinations of prospects. Participate in the discussion of cultivation/solicitation strategies. Share responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of other development researches when appropriate.
Required Skills
- B.A./B.S. or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with computers, on-line databases and the ability to develop such skills quickly
- Ability to analyze financial data and related business information
- Knowledge of fundraising
- Willingness to participate in professional seminars
- Three to five years of related development experience
