Position: Project Manager
Organization: CBMI/Countway, Harvard Medical School
Location: Boston, MA

Duties and Responsibilities:
This position manages, has direct responsibility for initiating and maintaining the progress of project activities, and serves as principal liaison for the collaborative projects of the Center for Biomedical Informatics (CBMI) informatics team and the Countway Library. This position will function as the primary day-to-day project manager and administrator for multiple collaborative projects. Responsibilities include handling of logistics and managing relationships with multiple individuals and project groups to research, process, compile, and assess essential information; plan meetings and set agendas; develop and coordinate action plans with deliverables and timelines; conduct library and online research as necessary; assess information and post to collaborative web sites; perform data analysis tasks; test informatics applications, analyze and address risk factors; ensur that resource allocation aligns with project priorities; and coordinate development across multiple teams. Other responsibilities include developing and executing effective techniques to measure project progress and communicating progress to all participants.

Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent required and at 5+years of related experience.

Additional Qualifications:
Experience in project management and coordination and/or research assistance, including experience in data analysis, report creation, and working in a setting with groups and individuals of varying backgrounds and responsibilities. Education or experience in a field related to information management or communication. Some experience in a research/academic setting preferred.
