2007- The St Louis Chapter held 2 professional programs in the late afternoon followed by networking time at a nearby restaurant; members who could not attend were sent the link to view on their own.  Used Survey Monkey to select programs.

2008

  • January - Happy Hour
  • February - Gary Price's Research Tool Box.  The chapter bought three sessions and established three different sites to view this presentation so members across the St. Louis metropolitan region could easily attend over lunch.  Members brought their lunch with them and the chapter provided drinks and dessert.  Overall we had 43 participants.
  • March - Tour of the Missouri Botanical Garden library, rare book room and herbarium and a presentation of the Botanicus Digital Library Portal.
  • April - Website Usability Evaluation.  Dr. Kim Thompson from the School of Information Science and Learning Technologies at the University of Missouri - Columbia presented an overview of general usability principles and theories showed some examples of good and bad website design.
  • May - Information ethics round table discussion.
  • June - Happy Hour
