In 2007, our chapter organized a tour of the Tennessee State Library and Archives. We had a great turn-out, a wonderful guide, and learned a tremendous amount about our state collections, civil war documents, and needs for current research and genealogical resources. Following this tour, we went to the Nashville Public Library and participated in self-guided tour of this beautiful facility.  In addition, we hosted a tour of the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum in Atlanta, GA last Spring, which was very informative - and a great day trip.

In 2008, we will be touring the Middle Tennessee State University Library and the Center for Popular Music. Since Nashville is Music City, this should prove to be a very interesting event! This tour will happen in July 2008.
