2008:
*  Gaming in Special Libraries - event was held at a local video game arcade.  After the lecture section of the program, we ate dinner and then spent the evening playing video games and pinball. 
*  Pitt meets East Asia - several chapter members who have done librarian exchanges between the University of Pittsburgh and universities in East Asia spoke about their experiences in China and their preparations for the exchanges. 

2007:
* Emerging Ideas in Technologies and Search - lecture by CEO of Vivisimo search engine. 
* Do You Have an Elevator Speech? - interactive program in creating elevator speeches prior to the annual conference.

2006:
* Mindful Meditation - stress management through meditation.
* Patent Searching for Mortals - patent searching with emphasis on using patent codes with speaker Alan Engel of Paterra. 

The Pittsburgh Chapter has an archive of its past events going back to 2000.
