In this section, each Chapter can enter a description of its activities and special events related to joint activities with other professional associations in their geographic region .

Each chapter should have its own page (please create a new child page if not already  done), and chapter members can continue to edit that page to add new items in this category over time.   Other chapters can add comments related to entries.

Some of these activities are closely relately to membership development or student programs, so can be cross-linked to those pages as appropriate.    Examples could include a program events co-sponsored with local chapters of associations such as MLA, ASIST, AALL or SCIP, and also outreach to the state library association.

Interesting fact: In 2007,.85% of chapter had liaisons with other local groups such a state library associations, legal and medical associations, local chapters of ASIST and SCIP and many more
