Anheuser-Busch Brewery (World's largest brewery, offers tours, one free drink, decorated with Christmas lights each year, near Soulard)

Missouri Botanical Garden

Zoo (In Forest Park. Free and excellent, they are creating new areas, there are fees for some special sections, take the train ride, the walk-through bird cage dates back to the 1904 World's Fair)

St. Louis Art Museum (In Forest Park. Free with wonderful permanent collection. Open until 9:00 pm on Fridays--featured exhibitions Yinka Shonibare & Tom Friedman)

    If you go to Forest Park, there is a tiny treasure which you should definitely visit...the Jewel Box greenhouse.  Beautiful...and an oasis from the cold weather!
